Application Deadline for MMC Master of Education Fast Approaching

YANKTON - March 1, 2019, is the application deadline for teachers looking to pursue a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at Mount Marty College (MMC).

MMC’s Master of Education program offers teachers the opportunity to achieve their degree in just two years with the majority of the course work being completed in student’s individual classrooms. Program courses highlight the core areas of expertise in the field of teaching including learning theory and the classroom environment, strategies and techniques of effective teaching, using assessment and measurement to inform instruction, instructional technology, and engaging students, and creativity and critical thinking.

In addition, teachers at the Sacred Heart and Yankton School Districts in Yankton, South Dakota may be eligible to receive scholarship funds through the Dream Big Scholarship. The Dream Big Scholarship by Vision Realty was made possible by Dan and Deb Specht and provides Yankton teachers with funds toward the completion of their degree at MMC.
