Mount Marty College to Celebrate Spring Commencement

YANKTON, SD — Mount Marty College (MMC) will hold its Spring Commencement on Saturday, May 12 at 10 a.m. in Laddie E. Cimpl Arena, 1105 W. Eighth St. in Yankton.

Graduates will celebrate their achievements, reflect on the opportunities that lie ahead and receive their undergraduate and graduate degrees during the hour-long ceremony.

In addition to the commencement ceremony, a baccalaureate ceremony will be held on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Bishop Marty Memorial Chapel. The ceremony, a worship service signifying the end of the students’ undergraduate years, is open to graduates’ families and friends as well.

No tickets are required to attend the commencement ceremony, and there is no limit on the number of guests that candidates may invite. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The event will also stream live via the Mount Marty College Facebook page.
