MMC Theatre Offers Military Free Passes to WWII Play

Cast of Waiting for the ParadeMount Marty College (MMC) Theatre and Performing Arts is extending an invitation for individuals with military affiliation to attend upcoming performances of their spring production, “Waiting For the Parade” free of charge. The play, set in Calgary, chronicles the lives of five very different women who gather to work for the war effort at home. Based on actual interviews by playwright John Murrell, the play honors all the men and women associated with war at home and abroad.

Performances will be held in Marian Auditorium on the Yankton campus Thursday through Saturday, April 4-6 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m., with a short talk-back discussion following Friday’s performance. Wintz and Ray Funeral Home are sponsoring the production.
