History
History is the study of people, the choices they make, their conflicts and beliefs, and how these have shaped the world we live in today. By asking how societies change over time and why people act as they do, history provides context and tools that help students participate thoughtfully in civic life and better understand their place within a global community. Students develop skills employers consistently seek: research, writing, effective communication, and the ability to organize and interpret large amounts of information, setting them up for a wide range of meaningful careers.
