Going back to school can seem tricky on top of everything else you're juggling. Family, a full-time job, and other factors shouldn't deter you from getting the education you deserve. Attending college is a big decision, but it can have some beneficial rewards for you and your family. We have enrollment counselors dedicated to you, an adult learner, who are ready to help you make every step of the way a little easier.
how to get started
1. Submit an official high school transcript or GED transcript. Ensure that it goes directly from the school to MMU-Watertown at PO Box 138, 1201 Arrow Ave, Watertown, SD 57201.
2. Complete the FAFSA. Request that your Student Aid Report be sent to MMU for financial assistance. MMU's FAFSA code is 003465.
3. Schedule a customized campus visit. Meet with an advisor in your major, discuss financial aid with your Enrollment Counselor, and tour the Yankton Campus or Watertown Location.

Transfer students who want to gain their bachelor’s degrees at MMU after completing their associates degrees at Lake Area Technical College can take advantage of a simplified transfer process thanks to an articulation agreement between the two schools. Students enrolled in an academic degree program at LATC who complete all requirements for their designated Associate of Applied Science degree may transfer to MMU to complete the corresponding bachelor’s degree program.
