Faith Sharing

Our Peer Ministers make connections with students, foster relationships with and among students, help students experience a sense of belonging in our MMU community, and encourage students to participate in faith formation activites.

Christian Outreach and Social Justice

My goal is to collaborate with agencies to bring opportunities for MMU students to be involved in corporal and spiritual Works of Mercy.

Hello! I’m Allie Taggart, a proud resident of Yankton and part of a lively family of seven. Currently, I’m a sophomore at Mount Marty, majoring in elementary education. I’m deeply involved in choir, theater, and serving as vice president of the PAC program. In my free time, I love singing, reading, and socializing. Additionally, I’m honored to be a Seton Scholar, eager to foster community involvement through service outreach. This new journey excites me, and I’m committed to helping others grow in faith along the way.

Community Life and Faith Formation

Our goal is to build community among students through faith formation programs and activities.

Hi, I’m Maci Nemetz. I will be a sophomore this year studying nursing. I was born and raised in Atkinson, NE. I am the oldest of five children with one younger brother and three younger sisters. My parents raised us all Catholic and I have loved getting to deepen my faith thus far on campus. I am apart of the women’s basketball team, help lead women’s Bible study, and I am the secretary of the Lancers for Life club. Some of my hobbies include: shopping, cooking, going to the lake, attending Mass and Adoration, getting together with friends and family, going on nature walks, and taking care of flowers.
