BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Magorian has been a nurse educator since 2001, teaching across the pre-licensure curriculum in clinical and didactic courses as well as teaching at the graduate and Doctoral level in the non-clinical courses of health policy, legal/ethical, cultural competence and research areas. She began her teaching career at Mount Marty College, then worked at a state institution for 11 years, at a smaller, private institution before returning to her 'roots' at MMU. Her primary area of clinical focus was adult health, with an emphasis in geriatric care and geriatric psyche. She has worked clinically in both acute and long term settings, medical and psychiatric facilities. She loves working with students and helping them achieve their goal as members of this most incredible nursing profession. In all of her educational endeavors with students and faculty, she strives to ensure the ultimate goal in all we do as educators and providers, is to improve patient outcomes.
