Dr. Scott Wood serves as the Chief Technology Officer for a Medical Device Corporation. In this role, he and his team have developed applications for devices designed to determine mechanism of action and to establish preclinical metrics for safety and efficacy of prescription therapeutics. Prior to his current position, Dr. Wood served as the Technology Development Officer for a Medical Diagnostics Corporation.

Dr. Wood’s formal training is in Mechanical and Bioengineering. Outside his industry role, he also serves as an Associate Professor of Nanoscience and Biomedical Engineering at SD School of Mines and Technology.
