Mount Marty Nursing

The Mission of Mount Marty University nursing is to provide undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students with an integrated education in the Catholic, Benedictine tradition and to promote personal character development, holistic professional nursing excellence, and community service involvement. The University has programs in Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP).

Long a University known for its nursing excellence, Mount Marty has expanded training for advanced-practice nurses by adding a graduate certificate in endocrinology and has a direct entry program for Mount Marty nursing graduates into our DNAP program. We are determined to improve rural health and wellbeing by producing mindful, skilled nurses at every stage of care.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

With a bachelor’s degree in nursing, you’ll be highly sought after and maybe even have a job offer before graduation! At Mount Marty, we’ll prepare you for a variety of nursing roles, to care for an increasingly diverse population and to use complex technology while experiencing hands-on clinicals right away. You’ll be able to work in specialties such as: pediatrics, maternity, medical-surgical, gerontology, mental health, critical care, and community health. As part of our Catholic Benedictine values, you’ll learn to care for your patients with compassion, understanding, a spirit of service, and with a holistic approach. That's what makes us truly different.
