Wildly Important Goal 2: Enrollment

By the conclusion of the strategic plan, Mount Marty will strive to:

  • Increase non-dual credit enrollment from 933 to 1,000 students (7.5% increase)
    • Increase from 568 to 600 undergrads in Yankton (5.6% increase), with strategic effort given to growing the BSN program (WIG #1)
    • Increase from 218 to 260 graduate students (19.3% increase)
    • Keep Watertown, prison, and dual credit enrollment stable
  • Maintain academic standards with an average entering student GPA of 3.30

LEAD MEASURES

As a lead measure to achieve continued enrollment growth, Mount Marty must focus on holistic enrollment management across academic programs, athletics, and the arts. Other measures include an expansion of international study abroad opportunities, as well as focusing intentional recruitment efforts at regional Catholic schools. To assist in retention initiatives, efforts must be made to develop co-curricular activities, which will help to create a vibrant campus community and student experience.
