DESIGN YOUR OWN AREA OF STUDY TO FIT YOUR LIFE, TIME AND PASSIONS.

This well-rounded, versatile bachelor’s or associate degree will help you grow in your chosen field or find success in a new career. Students combine Mount Marty’s general education requirements with other coursework to complete a custom degree, designed by the student and approved by faculty.

Interdisciplinary studies students meet with an advisor from the get-go to design a degree tailored to the students’ interests and career goals, based on one of three options:

• Option 1: Choose 16 credits from three disciplines

• Option 2: Choose 24 credits from two disciplines

• Option 3: Choose 24 credits from one discipline and 12 credits from an additional two disciplines

Already have an associate degree or previous coursework in a medical or health-related specialty? You can opt for an emphasis in allied health for the bachelor’s degree.

Supplement your academics with research activities, service learning projects, internships, field placements, practicums or clinical experiences, designed to meet your specific interests.
